The momentum gained further support in April 2026 when the Banadir Regional Administration unveiled the Mogadishu Transformation Plan (2026โ2030), a comprehensive five-year strategy designed to improve governance, infrastructure, public services, economic development, and climate resilience. The plan is valued at approximately $468.9 million and aims to accelerate the modernization of the capital.
