Mogadishu (Baidoa Online) โ Talks concluded today in Mogadishu, specifically at Xalane Camp, between the Somali Federal Government and members of the opposition. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama represented the government, while former President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni represented the opposition. International community observers were also present at the meeting. The discussions focused on electoral issues, specifically the type of election and the transitional situation in the country. Both sides agreed to hold further consultative meetings with opposition and government representatives.
