Friday , June 12, 2026 (Baidoa Online) -Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cirro) is expected to make his first official visit to Israel on June 14, according to reports from media outlets in Tel Aviv.
Israeli broadcaster i24NEWS reported that President Cirro will visit several sites administered by Israel, including memorial locations dedicated to victims of attacks and historical events that Israel commemorates as part of its national remembrance.
The visit is also expected to focus on strengthening diplomatic engagement between the two sides, with discussions covering a range of areas of mutual interest.
According to the reports, Somaliland and Israeli officials are expected to sign several agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors, including development, investment, and security cooperation.
